VRF aware pings and test are frustrating many times specially during troubleshooting where you try to ping or trace a destination or check routing table and later you notice you forgot to run vrf aware command. To solve this problem Cisco has introduced a cool feature known as VRF Routing Context into IOS and NX-OS which makes life lot easier specially during troubleshooting.
